What is Karaoke?

Karaoke is the hottest form of entertainment today. Singers choose their favorite songs from books provided by the host. They then have the opportunity to get on stage and be the star of the show. The song is played without the lead vocals, just the music and backup singers can be heard. The lyrics appear on a TV monitor and change color to cue the singer.

Our policy is first come - first to sing. We take the request slips in the order they are submitted. On very busy nights we will place new singers every third spot in the rotation to ensure they will have a chance to perform at least once. If a singer only turns in one slip, we will save their spot in the rotation in case they want to sing again. Duets or multiple singers are placed in the rotation under the first name on the request slip. On slow nights duets are sometimes done at the end of the rotation. The host will only sing on slow nights (more songs for the paying customers) or if there is a special request for a song.
